This Service is on HOLD in New York State due to legal and regulatory interpretations by NYS DEC and their legal council.
I strongly disagree with this standpoint and am working to do what I can to push for updated legislation or regulation here are my thoughts:
I believe that locating and recovering a deer or other shot game is different than pursuing, hunting or taking of the same.
I believe that using technology to provide the location of a deceased animal is legal and should be allowed.
There is legislation that has been proposed and sent to the DEC Committee regarding this topic and can be viewed here. Senate Bill S3542
